Certification & Safety
UL 9540 is the baseline, not the ceiling
Every ESS is engineered to the North American system standard, fire-tested to UL 9540A, and sited to NFPA 855.
UL 9540 System Certification
The ESS system standard for North America. Full certification path runs in-house — test planning, lab coordination, documentation — so the project is AHJ-ready at ship.
UL 9540A Fire Propagation Testing
Cell, module, and unit-level thermal runaway testing — required for most commercial and utility installs. Test plan and report delivered before construction starts.
NFPA 855 Compliant
Spacing, siting, and fire protection requirements met out of the box. Enclosure placement, egress, detection, and suppression designed against the current code so permitting doesn't stall.
